Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 256

The next day was overcast. There was no sun.

Her meeting with Kenneth was in the evening, so she could take the babies for a walk in the morning.

Janina, Grace, and Ethan pushed the two babies out for a stroll. Many acquaintances in the neighborhood greeted them when they saw them.

They were especially delighted when they saw the two babies in the stroller.

They hadn't had a big celebration for the babies' first month. Since the two had just been discharged from the hospital and weren't fully stable yet, they had just had a simple meal with family and the members of 'The Graces' Chat.'

They didn't dare go far with the babies, just sticking to the neighborhood.

Grace and Ethan each pushed a stroller, basking in the envious gazes of others and chatting with acquaintances they met along the way.

"Fairchild can't sit still for a moment. Now he's latched onto West," Grace said with a laugh whenever Fairchild was mentioned.

Easton had to return to the village a couple of days ago, but Fairchild refused to leave. He'd been helping out at The Tasting Room every day, completely smitten with West's cooking, and insisted on staying for a few more days.

He had tried to get Easton to stay with him, but the farm work was picking up, and Easton had no choice but to go back.

Then Fairchild tried to convince Summer to stay and go with him to The Tasting Room for good food.

Everyone found it amusingly exasperating.

Summer had to tell him the truth: "I have to go back and finish my manuscript. I can't stay and play with you."

So, Easton and Summer left together and returned to the village.

Fairchild had no choice but to stay by himself, saying he would return to the village in a few days.

He still preferred country life. It was freeing, and he could wade barefoot in the river to catch fish.
