Marjorie suppressed her inner revulsion, wrapped her arms around the man’s neck, and soon they were entangled in the back of the car.
She felt no love, only the grim satisfaction of revenge.
In the days after her diagnosis, Marjorie had locked herself in her room. Every time she remembered she had HIV, she would tear at her hair, unable to accept the reality.
Then, a couple of days ago, she saw a news story about a girl who had been infected with HIV by a man. The girl was in despair and confronted him, but he just claimed she was promiscuous and hurled insults at her.
Just as the girl was about to end her life, she saw her sick mother still trying to cook for her. The man had infected her, yet she was the one expected to die. Why?
Suddenly, the girl had a bold idea.
Before she died, she would make the men who hurt women pay. She would make them willingly give her their money, and then she would drag them to hell with her.
From that day on, the girl began to move between different men, trading her body for cash. After six months, she had earned over two million, which she left for her mother. Then, she killed herself.
Reading this news, Marjorie felt a kinship with the girl. A sudden, dark epiphany struck her.
That's right.
It was all the men's fault. Why should she be the one to be punished? Why should she have to suffer this pain alone?
Why?
Was it fair?
Hatred grew like a wild weed in her heart, sprouting and spreading with furious speed.
Marjorie decided she would have her revenge. She would launch her own plan.
Her first target was Clark.
This was the man who had ruined her. She would make him suffer both physically and mentally. She would make him experience the despair of hell.
The motion in the car continued.
