Janina found it slightly amusing, a sarcastic smile playing on her lips.
"I'm not Damaris's mother. Why are you blaming me for what she does?
And let me ask you, Ms. Quinn, isn't it true that in the video, your current daughter-in-law is cheating on your son?"
The question caught Elena off guard.
She wanted to let loose a string of curses, but seeing the security guards present, she swallowed the profanities.
Her face, however, turned the color of a beet as she pointed furiously at Janina.
"You venomous woman! My Yvonne is so kind, and you think you can just bully her?
You were always devious, clinging to my son, using underhanded tactics to climb into his bed and marry him.
You ruined what he had with Yvonne.
Your own issues led to the breakdown of your marriage to my son.
Thankfully, Yvonne returned to the country just in time to reconnect with Julius."
Elena twisted the facts, painting Yvonne and Julius as victims and Janina as the villain of the story.
It was utterly shameless.
Janina didn't rush to respond, just quietly watched Elena's one-woman show.
After slinging all that mud at Janina and seeing her remain silent, Elena assumed she was feeling guilty and grew even more smug.
"You even scheme against a pregnant woman. Don't you have a conscience?
That baby was born prematurely, he's so tiny! You're heartless."
As she spoke, Elena gestured to show the size of the infant, her expression one of profound indignation.
"Ms. Quinn, why don't you ask your son how we got together?
Me, scheming against him? Hah, you give me too much credit.
I wasted ten years of my life as someone else's stand-in, and you have the nerve to say I schemed against him?
What's wrong with you? Do you even think before you speak, or do the lies just fall out of your mouth?"
