“That’s more like it.” Megan patted his shoulder. “I knew you were a decent guy. I wasn’t wrong about

you.”

“Good. Now that you’re here, just enjoy yourself. No more of that other talk.” Leon rubbed his shoulder, his eyes softening with a hint of affection as he looked at her.

Megan didn’t think much of it and returned to Aurora’s side.

Aurora, still curious, couldn’t help but ask, “Megan, are these people you know really reliable?”

Megan waved it off. “Honestly, I only know that one guy. The rest are just his friends.”

“Then why are you still willing to hang around this circle with him?” Aurora couldn’t help but wonder. After all, the Megan she knew had never been like this.

If it wasn’t someone she was familiar with, Megan usually wouldn’t bother getting close at all.

Taking a sip of her drink, Megan let out a satisfied sigh.
