“It’s already been announced online?” 

She hadn’t been following the news these past few days and wasn’t clear on the situation. 

Tessa handed her phone to Grace. “Mom, I have no reason to lie to you about this. Look, Daniel’s company has already posted the official statement.” 

Grace took the phone and examined it carefully. 

When she saw the official announcement, she finally realized her younger daughter wasn’t as simple as she had thought. 

She hadn’t forgotten how Aurora had once stood before her, swearing she had secured the project and would collaborate with the Walton Corporation. 

Yet in the end, not only had she left the company, she opened her own studio and the project was now hers as well. 

So, had everything she said before been nothing but lies? 

A cold smile flashed across Grace’s eyes. 

To think that at her age, she’d been played by a child.

Grace clenched her fists, anger plain on her face. 

Clearly, she had been too soft–hearted before, which was why everyone now thought she was easy to bully. 

She turned to Jason. “Jason, go find out exactly what kind of relationship Aurora has with Mr. Lewis.” 

“Yes, Madam Grace.” Jason gave a slight nod. 

Then he started to leave the office. 

Before stepping out, he nodded briefly to Tessa, as if to acknowledge her. 

Tessa gave no response.
