Chapter 1350
Lucas’ gaze lingered on Aurora in her business attire, the fitted cut outlining her figure, every graceful curve accentuated.
Her delicate face, usually so composed, now carried a touch of unease brought on by nerves.
To Lucas, that hint of fluster only made her seem more real-less untouchable, more alive-and all the more captivating.
“Don’t be nervous.”
His lips curved into a faint smile as he leaned closer to whisper in her ear. “You look beautiful.”
With that, he brushed a kiss against her earlobe.
Aurora shivered from the tingling warmth that spread through her.
“But I’m really not ready,” she murmured.

“What is it? Why are you looking at me like that?”
Aurora laughed softly. “It’s just the first time I’ve heard you talk like this.”
“Isn’t it normal?” Lucas pinched her soft cheek with ease. “In front of you, I can be anything.”
At that, Aurora found herself flushing with embarrassment.
It was the first time she’d ever seen him so unabashed.
Before, their conversations had carried a hint of restraint, but now Lucas was completely unguarded with her.
Aurora pressed her lips into a smile and chose not to say more.
But Lucas continued, “So, will you come meet my parents? They’re just coming back to the estate in the next

Aurora frowned. “But I still have the program recording coming up. I don’t even know when it will start.”
“That’s easy.”
