Hearing those words, a flicker of sadness crossed Aurora’s eyes. Her heart ached quietly inside.

Seeing that, Lucas abandoned his usual composure for the first time and turned back toward Grace.

“My dear mother–in–law, that’s quite a statement. From now on, we won’t be setting foot in this house again.
