He sighed. “She’s been claiming for weeks that the two of them were together, and then with those doctored photos of them all over social media, people would believe it naturally.

“But now that the truth’s out, the rumors have fallen apart on their own, haven’t they?”

A faint smile curved Aurora’s lips, her expression brightening with quiet satisfaction.

Seeing that, the director slapped his thigh with enthusiasm. “Still, with the way this show’s performing, we should really take advantage of the momentum to do some proper promotion.

“The rumors being cleared up is a win for both of us. You don’t need to hold back because of Yvonne anymore.”

Aurora shook her head slightly. “Better to keep things as they were. Yvonne still has a strong reputation in this industry, and her style just doesn’t suit this project, that’s all. I’d rather not make it personal.”
