Megan nodded. "No one knows where she went. Everything was fine, and suddenly she’s gone from the set.
"And now Mr. Smith is stressed out about it. The person I talked to told me we should stay out of his way for now. Otherwise, we’ll be the ones catching the heat."
Aurora could understand that to some extent.
When someone was in a bad mood, approaching them would only risk triggering their temper.
And in the end, she’d be the one taking the blame.
Still, she said seriously, "Mr. Smith helped me a lot. I’m a bit worried about him. By the way, has he found anyone suitable yet?"
Megan shook her head. "No. Yvonne told him she was quitting early this morning. Everyone was still asleep when she sent the message, so it’s not like anyone could’ve replied. Mr. Smith didn’t even have a chance to refuse."
Aurora couldn’t help but shake her head. "I never thought Yvonne would be that kind of person."
"Exactly, based on how she acted abroad, I thought she was a decent person.
"And she runs her own studio too. She knows how projects work. Doesn’t she realize that quitting like this would mess up the entire schedule?"
Megan kept venting. "Besides, this production isn’t all about her. Does she expect everyone to just wait around for her?"
Aurora agreed completely.
She glanced toward the director’s office, worry clouding her eyes.
