“Alright, since the show is wrapped up, we can head back tomorrow or the day after.”
“So soon? Can’t we stay and have some fun first?”
Megan looked genuinely disappointed.
They had been here so long, and every single day was nothing but work. It was hotel-to-set and back again, like living in a loop.
She hadn’t had a single chance to go out, wander around, or actually enjoy the place. She felt like she was turning into some lonely shut-in.
And during Aurora’s filming, she could only stand around, bored out of her mind.
She never got the chance to explore or experience anything local.
Just thinking about it made her feel like the entire trip had been a loss.
So, no matter what, she wasn’t going home without at least a little fun. If they left immediately, then coming all the way to Bustin City would’ve been pointless.
Hearing her, Aurora hesitated.
There were still so many things waiting for her back at the studio. How could she waste time wandering around here?
If she stayed, what would happen to everything waiting for her back home?
“Megan, maybe we should go back first. Later on, I’ll come here again with you just to play.”
At that, Megan immediately frowned.
“I’ve stayed here all this time just to keep you company while you filmed. I just want to relax for a bit before we leave.”
She stepped forward and clung to Aurora’s arm, acting spoiled.
“Please? Just say yes to this one thing.”
Caught between amusement and helplessness, Aurora couldn’t bring herself to say no.
She also knew she hadn’t really let Megan relax, and that wasn’t very fair.
