“Even if I’m considered the centerpiece of the show, it’s only because you wrote a strong script and handled everything so well.
“Otherwise, I never would’ve had the chance to work on something this good or the chance to meet someone as exceptional as you.”
The director nearly grinned ear to ear.
He hadn’t expected Aurora to speak so skillfully.
And considering she was Lucas’ wife, her composure and humility were even more impressive.
She was never arrogant and never overstep.
How did wealthy people keep getting wealthier?
Well, the answer was right in front of him.
He suddenly understood why people like her always seemed to rise higher.
They thought ahead. They treated others with warmth.
They handled everything with a distinctive grace.
They never overcomplicated things; they saw more than just the surface.
“I understand your concerns, but I still need some time to think it over.”
He was genuinely pleased that Aurora sought his opinion, but accepting Yvonne back into the show was a serious matter.
She had left so abruptly. No matter the industry, welcoming someone back under those circumstances was never simple.
“That’s fine. I’ll respect whatever decision you make.”
Aurora added, “And whether we move forward with the next season is entirely up to you. Don’t worry about my schedule. If you decide to film, I won’t have any objections.”
“Aurora, I’ve got a clear sense of your thoughts now. I’ll get back to you once I’ve made a decision.”
Aurora nodded, her expression warm and composed.
Even after she left, the director was still thinking about her.
