Just then, Marcus leaned closer to Terence and whispered, “Terence, we’ll back you up no matter what you say, but please, don’t claim to be the head of Aurelius Dominion anymore. Those guys, Declan and his crew, are full of it, but they said one thing right—the leader of Aurelius Dominion is an odd character. If he finds out someone is impersonating him when he arrives, it won’t be good for you or my sister.”

Marcus was worried that Terence would anger the powerful figure. The Wards weren't afraid of a scandal, but they refused to let Natalie become collateral damage.

“Don’t worry,” Terence replied calmly. “What you’re afraid of won’t happen.”

His words only confused Marcus further.

Declan scoffed, “It seems the hundred-billion-dollar deal has gone to your heads. The Ward family thinks they’re above the law. Terence is impersonating the head of Aurelius Dominion, and you want to cover for him, to back him up? How much money does the Ward family have to burn?”

Simon added, “He’s right. You’d better kick Terence out now. When the President of Aurelius Dominion arrives, my brother will definitely tell him what’s been going on. Then, Aurelius Dominion will only partner with my brother. If this hundred-billion-dollar deal goes down the drain, you won’t even have a shoulder to cry on.”

Terence glanced at his watch. “I said I’d give you ten minutes to present your project. That time is up. I will not be hearing about any of your projects now. You no longer have any chance of partnering with the Aurelius Dominion Group.”
