Leonardo Salazar rolled his eyes at Andres White's blatant humblebragging.
"Just a few random finished products?"
"Just playing around?"
Fine, he had to admit he was utterly blown away by Maeve Vance's work once again.
The rest of the audience wasn't any calmer, eagerly firing off their burning questions.
"Is this face cream some kind of miracle elixir?"
"What happens when you wash it off?"
"Does it harm the body in any way?"
"Will there be terrible side effects if used long-term?"
Their doubts weren't unfounded.
If the cream's effects were truly that miraculous, the chemical additives had to be off the charts.
Nobody wanted to risk their life just to look pretty.
Maeve took the microphone to clear the air.
"This face cream isn't some magical elixir."
"Its remarkable effectiveness comes from the addition of Nanoscopic Illumination Particles and NMN, which allow for rapid skin absorption."
"A quick search will tell you that NMN accelerates cell metabolism and repairs damaged DNA."
"The nanoscopic particles rapidly break down melanin in the skin. Paired with antioxidants and tyrosinase inhibitors, it forces the skin to undergo rapid genetic restructuring."
She made it sound simple, but the actual research and development process had been incredibly complex.
Even if the exact formula were handed to another laboratory, they wouldn't be able to replicate the results.
