Maeve fired an ability—Anivia locked up, unable to move—and Maeve's fingers flew, auto-attacking so fast it looked like the health bar was melting.
Anivia wasn't helpless. She threw everything—ult, abilities, the whole rotation.
Just as Soraka was about to get frozen, she popped stasis and slipped the timing.
Anivia threw the ultimate again, convinced the low-health Soraka had to die.
Maeve swapped items instantly—sold the stasis and bought a Guardian Angel.
Anivia went berserk, clinging to a sliver of HP and forcing a final duel.
When Soraka's health dipped to what looked like certain death, everyone thought she was done—until Maeve instant-swapped again and bought a stopwatch-like lifesaver item.
Anivia went down with zero suspense—auto'd to death.
And Soraka calmly healed herself back to full.
Millie was frantic. "You two—get back and defend!"
Rumble and Yuumi started recalling.
While their recall bar crawled along, Soraka strolled into the bottom lane with a single minion and hit the Nexus. A few autos later, the crystal was down to a thread.
Rumble finally finished recalling and rushed in with Yuumi to kill Soraka—only to get shredded by her autos.
Now each side had only a support left.
But Soraka was built for damage. Yuumi didn't stand a chance.
A few autos later, Yuumi dropped too.
"Triple kill."
Millie shrieked, "That's not even possible. Maeve has to be cheating!"
Then Millie's jungler, Kayn, respawned and dove in, wings flaring as he charged Soraka.
Maeve bounced her Q, spammed heals with W and E, and kept up relentless auto damage, grinding Kayn down to almost nothing.
When Christian realized too late that this was going sideways and tried to retreat to heal, Maeve flashed forward and finished him.
Enemy team wiped. The Nexus exploded in the same instant.
No one had expected the first game to end like this.
Even Elena couldn't believe it—a healer doing that kind of damage.
Mateo stared. "Maeve… you're sure you only played this game a few times back then?"
Maeve smiled, innocent as a saint. "I did. Just a few. I'm really not good."
Mateo: "…"
After the loss, Millie tore into her teammates.
"Are you even top-tier? All of you—and you couldn't beat one Soraka?"
Christian and the rest took it in silence.
Because honestly? That Soraka was absurd.
