Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 170

If the other side was a nobody, Dylan could make them disappear and sleep just fine.

But if Emilio had crossed the wrong person, the entire Rodriguez family could end up buried with him.

Old Mrs. Rodriguez cursed, furious. "A club girl—what kind of background could she possibly have?"

"I don't care. Emilio suffered. I'm getting justice for Emilio."

While they argued, Dylan's assistant stumbled into the room, face drained white.

"Sir… we've confirmed it. The man who attacked Mr. Emilio at the club that night was Mr. Andres."

The name hit the room like a gunshot.

Every Rodriguez face changed at once.

How—how had Emilio managed to provoke him?

At Azure Bay, Andres was about to say a few words to Maeve after she ended her livestream when someone informed him that his sister Gianna had come to see him.

Andres felt a headache coming on.

His siblings really had a talent for never letting him have a peaceful day.

He glanced at Maeve. "Come with me?"

"I'd rather not." Maeve had zero interest in dealing with White family people.

Andres slid an arm around her waist with quiet authority. "You'll meet them sooner or later."

Gianna White was fifty-two.

When Caden White was young, he'd gotten seriously ill and spent three months in the hospital. During that time, he hooked up with a beautiful doctor. One night. One mistake.

Ten months later, the doctor gave birth to a lovely daughter.

Like Colter's mother, the doctor had dreamed of using her child as a ticket into the White family.

But Caden was at the peak of his worst years—reckless, selfish, allergic to commitment. Marriage hadn't even existed in his head, let alone giving the mother a name and a place.

The doctor, furious, left the country with the baby.

"Andres… I'm sorry to come bothering you at this hour. I wouldn't be here if I didn't have to ask for your help."

Andres gestured toward the seating area. "Sit."

Gianna perched stiffly on the couch. Andres guided Maeve to the seat opposite and sat with her.

He didn't ask what Gianna wanted right away. Instead, he had Jasmine bring breakfast.

Maeve had been focused on her livestream since waking up and hadn't eaten a thing.

Jasmine was sharp—every meal she prepared now included something Maeve liked.

Breakfast today was a balanced spread: a bowl of porridge with a few sides, a fried egg, and a glass of milk.

Maeve glanced at Andres. "You're not eating?"

"I've got a lunch meeting."

Maeve didn't bother insisting. She picked up her spoon and ate, completely unbothered—treating Gianna like she wasn't even there.

Only then did Andres look at his sister. "Gianna. Say what you came to say."
