Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 321

Maeve Vance saw it at the same time Andres White did.

She snatched up her phone. "I'm running to the restroom."

Before Andres could get a word in, Maeve was already gone, not even glancing back.

Once she was sure no one was within earshot, she dialed a number.

She couldn't be bothered with small talk. "How did it go?"

A man's voice came through the receiver.

"All twelve hundred-plus sets of experimental data are in. The results are… very encouraging."

Maeve's eyes narrowed, bright with intent. "Get everything ready on your end. When the timing's right, I want to go big."

"I heard Simon Grover is back in Aethelburg."

"I've already met him once."

"Simon Lab C's latest project is a permanent artificial heart."

Maeve's gaze flicked, her mind turning. "I get what you're saying."

Maeve's sudden "phone call" gave Anya Morales the perfect opening to get Andres alone.

"Now that Mrs. White's leg problem is supposedly cured," Anya said, voice tight with anticipation, "does Mr. Andres still intend to honor his promise?"

Andres had guessed all along why Anya was in such a rush to parade Natalia in front of him.

"The promise you mean," he said evenly, "the one where I'd agree to any condition you asked for?"

Anya nodded hard, her face flushing with excitement. "I can't believe you still remember."

Andres gave a faint smile. "If my mother can walk again, I won't shortchange you."

Then his expression cooled, his tone sharpening.

"But the Natalia you brought me had better be the real deal."

"Don't worry, Mr. Andres," Anya said quickly. "If I didn't have absolute confidence, I wouldn't bring some random fraud to waste your time."

"Natalia's incredible. Someone told me she got a patient back on their feet—someone who'd been disabled for seven years."

Anya sounded so certain that Andres started to suspect this wasn't just some cheap attempt to get a woman close to him.

In business, honey traps were a dime a dozen.
