Juniper shot back without hesitation, tossing a flash drive to Corvus while casually rubbing her wrist. "Your team's research is flawed. Modify the parameters according to this data."
Corvus caught the drive and immediately handed it over to a researcher standing nearby.
Soon after, the researcher gasped in pleasant surprise, "Boss, it really works!"
Following Specter's suggestions, the brainwave data of the subject instantly showed signs of modification.
Before this, not a single researcher had managed to achieve such progress.
Not even Dr. Sommers.
This Specter really was something else.
"Where's the rest of the data?" Corvus demanded.
"After adjusting the data, you have to let the test subjects adapt. You need to monitor their brainwaves and genetic changes before tweaking anything else."
Juniper popped a piece of candy into her mouth and said casually, "Haste makes waste. No wonder your experiments always fail."
Mocked so blatantly, Corvus couldn't find a single word in retort.
"Also, you have way too few test subjects," Juniper mumbled around the candy. It tasted awful, not even a fraction as good as the ones Shanley bought for her.
But since it was all she had, she had to make do.
"Find at least twenty more." Juniper tossed another file to Corvus. "Here are twenty different protocol variations to modify the genes of twenty separate subjects."
"Observe their changes, and the optimal data will naturally reveal itself."
"We could have done that..."
Corvus clenched his fists, his gaze darkening. "But you blew up Sanctum Holdings. We don't have enough personnel or equipment left."
"Useless."
Juniper took a sip of water, mocking him mercilessly. "Incompetence is incompetence. Don't blame the machines or the headcount."
"Forget twenty gene modifications, even if it were two hundred, I could sort it out for you in a matter of hours."
Listening to the girl's arrogant claims, Corvus fell into deep thought before saying sinisterly, "Specter, would you really be so kind?"
"Of course not."
Juniper raised an eyebrow, her red lips curving as she enunciated clearly, "The deal this time is you give me two weeks' worth of antidotes for my father."
