Don't Mess with the Girl with Candy novel Chapter 718

Shanley’s handsome face instantly darkened at Juniper’s retort, his eyes turning murderous.

“What are you looking at?” Juniper shot back, unafraid. She slouched in her chair, crossing her legs just like him, and stared back with a challenging brow. “You were so desperate to see Specter. Well, I’m here. Let my person go.”

“Do you see where you are?” Shanley lifted his eyes slightly, the disdain in them unconcealed. “Do I need you to tell me what to do?”

Juniper shot him a look and then laughed, a cold, bitter sound. “Then what did you bring me here for? To watch you and your ugly scowl?”

“Smack!”

Shanley slammed his palm on the table, but before he could say another word, Juniper kicked the chair opposite him, sending it flying.

“Crash!”

It slammed against the wall and clattered to the floor with a deafening noise.

“Don’t you dare play the big boss with me,” Juniper said, rising to her feet. She might not have been as tall as Shanley, but her presence was just as imposing. “Release my person, and I’m all yours.”

“Fine,” Shanley said, his eyes narrowing. He glanced at Felton. “Is the contract ready?”

“Yes, sir.” Felton immediately produced the document, spreading it out in front of Juniper.

It was filled with clauses and stipulations—transfers of shares, factories, and entire enterprises. The document was dozens of pages long, with a blank space at the end awaiting the signatures of the leader of Sigma Network and Specter.

“Quite the appetite you have,” Juniper remarked, her lips twisting into a sneer as she casually scanned the pages. “What’s next? You want me to hand over my ancestors, too?”

She paused for a beat before adding with another cold laugh, “Oh, wait. I don’t even know where my ancestors are.”

“Cut the crap. Sign it, and your person can leave.” Shanley snapped, his patience wearing thin as he stared darkly at the young “man.”

“I’ll sign, but I want to see my person first,” Juniper shot back, tossing the pen onto the table.

Flint ordered his men to act, and Luella’s voice was quickly silenced, leaving her to struggle futilely.

Juniper almost broke character listening to Luella’s curses. *Damn, she really doesn’t hold back.*

The door opened, and Flint dragged Luella inside.

“Mmph!” Luella’s eyes widened when she saw Juniper, and she began to struggle even more frantically.

“Sign the contract, and someone will escort your man out,” Shanley said, glancing coolly at Luella. That white hair was incredibly jarring. White hair? Just like another man he despised.

“You’d better keep your word,” Juniper said, her heart settling after a quick check confirmed Luella was unharmed.

“Mmph—” Luella thrashed, desperate to stop Juniper from signing.

Give all of Subterra Vanguard’s assets to the leader of Sigma Network? And send Juniper to a deserted island? The nerve of this guy. Who the hell did he think he was?
