Don't Mess with the Girl with Candy novel Chapter 792

"Are you..." Qadir stared at the exquisitely beautiful girl who was smiling like a sunflower, then scratched his head. "Juniper, you know her?"

Juniper lifted her gaze, letting it fall lightly on the girl's face. She had delicate, refined features and long hair that cascaded lazily over her shoulders. Her clear, pure eyes were curved into crescents, fixed intently on her.

Juniper paused for a few seconds. There was a faint sense of familiarity about her, but a quick mental check confirmed she wasn't in any of her contact systems.

"No," she replied coolly.

"Then why is she staring at you?" Qadir leaned in and whispered.

"Probably a mistake." Juniper turned her head, only to find the girl's gaze still glued to her, growing more intense by the second.

"Let's go," Juniper said, dismissing it as a case of mistaken identity, and started walking again.

"Oh." Qadir paused for a moment, then smiled at Celine. "Miss, you've got the wrong person."

The group then hurried to catch up with Juniper.

Huh? What did he mean, 'wrong person'? Celine pursed her lips, clutched the cakes, and pattered after them, her eyes only for Juniper.

"Juniper, that pretty lady is following us," Qadir noted, glancing back in confusion. "What's going on? You think she's a fan?"

A fan? A fan of what?

"Do you want a photo?" Juniper was hungry and didn't have time for this, but she managed to ask patiently. "Come on, then."

"Hmm?" Celine was completely bewildered, just beaming at her.

"Me?" Seeing the person she was so happy to see finally speaking to her, Celine was overjoyed. She tried her best to pronounce her name. "My name is Celine..."

"I don't know you," Juniper interrupted her smoothly, her brows knitting together. "Why are you following me?"

"This." Celine held out the cake, a brilliant smile spreading across her face. "It's for you," she said earnestly.

Juniper looked at the cake, then back at the person offering it, completely baffled.

"For you to eat," Celine insisted, pushing it a little closer, not a hint of awkwardness at the rejection. "It's yummy."

"Juniper..." Qadir, sensing something was off, leaned close to her ear and whispered, "I think she might have an intellectual disability."
