"I'm just happy that I finally got to make this relationship official after waiting so long. The least I can do is let everyone else share in my happiness," Shanley Schwartz admitted without a moment's hesitation.
"Tsk." Juniper Payne let out a soft scoff, turning off her phone and looking away, too lazy to indulge his absolute lack of restraint.
The car drove on for quite a while.
Looking out the window, Juniper noticed the unfamiliar scenery and asked in confusion, "We aren't heading back to the Cloudscape Community?"
"I'm taking you somewhere." Shanley freed up one hand to gently grasp hers, smiling with a profound air of mystery.
She couldn't guess what kind of trick he was pulling this time. But since she was letting him have his moment of joy today, she figured she might as well let him go all out.

Lulled by the motion of the car, Juniper drifted off to sleep. When she woke up, she found the vehicle parked in a sprawling suburban area. Nestled between rolling hills and a clear lake, the area was lush with vibrant plant life. The air was incredibly fresh, brimming with vitality. Not far away stood several modern-style houses currently under construction, exuding a sense of peace and tranquility. It was the kind of breathtaking location that instantly put the mind at ease.
Juniper furrowed her brows. What was Shanley doing bringing her here?
"You're awake?" Seeing her open her eyes, Shanley immediately opened the car door and took her hand to lead her out.
"Where are we going?" Despite her question, Juniper obediently let him guide her.
"To sell you off." Shanley looked down, his gentle gaze landing on her face as he teased, "A girl as cute as you would definitely fetch a good price."
Juniper stared at him, utterly speechless. After a few seconds of silence, the corner of her lips twitched. "Whoever ends up buying me must have committed some terrible sins in their past life."
"Heh." Amused by her retort, Shanley tightened his grip on her hand. This girl was getting sharper by the day.
