Lillian and Leonard's private celebration was beautifully decorated, radiating warmth and romance.
Leonard had prepared everything well in advance. Lillian's company had just fought a crucial and triumphant battle. Now that Lillionix's reputation was firmly established globally, a relentless flood of orders and partnerships was inevitable.
The current scale of her company was nowhere near enough to handle the upcoming growth.
Leonard hadn't been idle during this time. Even though he seemed to be resting at home every day, he had been meticulously mapping out these preparations behind the scenes.
As their celebratory lunch wound down, Leonard pulled out a document folder and solemnly handed it to Lillian.
Lillian looked up in surprise. "A gift?"
"Exactly. It's a gift. Open it and see if you like it."
Lillian took the folder, unspooled the string, and pulled out the documents. Her eyes widened in shock, and she immediately looked up at Leonard.
"This is..."
Leonard offered a gentle, affectionate smile. He knew she would love it.
"Well? Is the gift suitable?"
"An entire skyscraper?"
"Lillionix Tower," Leonard corrected her gently. "Those two floors of office space you have now won't be nearly enough. Move your corporate headquarters to this building and go full speed ahead.
With your brilliance, this building will be packed with employees in no time."
Lillian was deeply moved. "Leonard, how do you always think ten steps ahead of me?"
Her voice was laced with emotion.
Leonard chuckled softly. "I have to think ahead. You're already incredibly busy with work, and I selfishly take up all your free time after hours. If I didn't plan everything perfectly for you, I'd be a terrible boyfriend."
Lillian's heart swelled. Leonard always knew exactly what she needed.
