Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2619

"Then you should pay attention to the lecture," the man said before walking away with his sketchbook.

Sylvia watched his tall, proud silhouette disappear, a faint smile on her lips. She glanced down at her own sketchbook, at the unfinished profile she’d been drawing.

Grace came over to her. "So, how does it feel, sitting in on a class?"

Sylvia closed her sketchbook, her eyes soft and alluring. "It feels... comfortable. I think I'd like to stay for another couple of lessons."

"Bringing back memories of your school days?" Grace asked with a smile.

"I never really went to school, so this is all new to me," Sylvia admitted.

Grace looked surprised. "You never went to school?"

"Not like this," Sylvia clarified. "I've never learned anything sitting in a classroom."

A wave of curiosity about Sylvia's past washed over Grace, but she could tell from Sylvia's guarded expression that it was a story she wasn't ready to share. She simply smiled and said, "Well, think of it as a chance to make up for a missed childhood experience."

"I will."

As Gabriel left the classroom, he saw Jonas walking toward him, a literature textbook in his hand.

"Gabriel!" Jonas greeted him with a wide, friendly smile.

Gabriel raised a cool eyebrow. "You have the next class?"

"I do!" Jonas beamed. "I teach the kids literature."

Gabriel gave a slight nod without another word and turned to head up to the second floor.
