Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2645

Sylvia’s face showed a flicker of surprise.

Grace just chuckled. "Come on, I'll make you some coffee."

But Sylvia glanced at the time and shook her head with a smile. "Not today. There's something I need to do right now."

After leaving Grace's villa, Sylvia sent a private message to Jonas. [Jonas, I'm on the second floor of the library. Could you pick a few gardenias and bring them to me?]

He replied almost instantly. [On my way.]

Sylvia pocketed her phone and headed for the library.

Jonas grabbed an umbrella and went out, first stopping to pick a few fragrant gardenia blossoms before making his way to the library's second floor.

With no classes today, the library was silent. The neat rows of bookshelves, the gentle patter of rain against the windows, and the rich smell of old paper created an atmosphere so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

Just as Jonas was about to head further in to find Sylvia, a voice came from behind him. "Are you looking for Sylvia?"

He turned, surprised to see Jenny standing there. He broke into a wide grin. "Hey, what are you doing here?"

Jenny's eyes fixed on the gardenias in his hand. She bit her lip. "Do you like Sylvia?"

The smile on Jonas's handsome face didn't waver. "Everyone here is a friend. And I like all my friends."

She gave a tight-lipped smile. "And I'm one of those friends, right? You like everyone, which means you don't really like anyone."

The gloomy daylight filtered in, reflecting off the copper-colored bookshelves with a cool light that made the room feel even more hushed.

Jonas looked directly at her. "What's that supposed to mean?"
