Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2945

Later that evening, Georgia told Old Mr. Quintin that she planned to settle down in Y Country.

She explained her thoughts clearly: since both she and Sylvia would be moving to Y Country, she sincerely hoped Old Mr. Quintin would come with them. However, if he felt unable to leave everything behind in J City, she promised that they would visit him often.

After finishing, Georgia braced herself, expecting her father to get upset or angry.

But to her surprise, Old Mr. Quintin simply furrowed his brows, not losing his temper. After a brief moment of thought, he made his decision. “I’ll go with you.”

Georgia was taken aback—delighted and surprised at once. “You’ll really come with us?”

Her father had always been old-fashioned. Except for business trips, he’d never liked going abroad. That he would now agree to live overseas was truly unexpected.

Old Mr. Quintin glanced around at his own yard, then said quietly, “Nothing matters more than being with your family.”

That night, Old Mr. Quintin talked over the matter again with Old Mr. Jarvis.

Old Mr. Jarvis was surprised as well. “So you’ve finally come around!”

Old Mr. Quintin looked somber. “What I’ll really miss is you. Once I leave, who will I have to argue with?”

Old Mr. Jarvis kept a straight face. “Do you think I have so much free time to bicker with you every day?”

Old Mr. Quintin huffed, “Fine, I’m the one who likes to argue with you, is that better?”

Old Mr. Jarvis waved his hand. “Then you’d better hurry up and leave!”

Old Mr. Quintin puffed up, glaring. “Look at you—never able to recognize a good intention!”

But Old Mr. Jarvis’s expression softened into a slow smile. “Don’t worry. You won’t last long over there. Within a month you’ll be begging me to let you come back.”

Old Mr. Quintin laughed too. “What am I, a three-year-old?”

Old Mr. Jarvis nodded seriously. “You’re not much better than a three-year-old!”
