Five Years Wasted Now They Beg Her Back novel Chapter 515

And only Damien could provide that support.

Damien placed Grace on the bed, helped her take off her coat and shoes, and then went to the bathroom to run a bath.

“Take a bath, get some sleep, okay?”

He coaxed her like a child, helping her into the bathtub.

The warm water enveloped her body, and Grace finally felt a trace of warmth.

She leaned against the edge of the tub, watching Damien, with his sleeves rolled up, took a warm towel and began to gently wash her face and hands.

“Damien.”

“Hmm?”

“You don’t have to do this.” Grace raised her hand to take the towel from him. “I can do it myself.”

“Don’t move.”

Damien avoided her hand, his movements steady and tender. "Just let me. I’ve got you."

Grace felt a pang of grief well up in her, the kind that made her want to cry but left her unable to.

After the bath, Damien tucked her into bed, turned off the main lights, and left only a dim bedside lamp on.

“Sleep now, I’m here.”

He placed a kiss on her forehead. “Get a good night’s sleep.”

Grace closed her eyes.

But she couldn’t sleep.

Every time she closed her eyes, the image of her grandmother’s kind face would appear.

It was an incredibly long night.

Grace didn’t sleep, and neither did Damien.

He knew the person in his arms was awake because her body remained tense, and even her breathing was unnaturally steady.

As dawn broke, Grace sat up.

Damien immediately opened his eyes.

“Where are you going?” he asked.

Grace got out of bed, walked to the closet, and took out a black outfit to change into.

Her movements were brisk, her expression calm.

“I want to go somewhere.”

“I’ll go with you.”
