Chapter 325 The Fallout
She looked like a monster, a complete and utter joke to the world.
Amara covered her shattered face, letting out a jagged, broken scream.
“Aaaah!”
She looked at Lyndon, a murderous intent rising in her eyes. She grabbed a bottle.
“Lyndon, you dog! I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you right now!”

Lyndon, caught off guard, took the bottle to the head. Amara tackled him. She pinned him down, using the jagged edge of the broken glass to aim for his throat.
Before she could strike, her wrist was caught in a crushing, iron grip.
Amara cried out in pain as Lyndon flipped her over, pulling a knife out. He stabbed it deep into her shoulder, his eyes full of a dark, twisted satisfaction.
“Remember the motel, Amara? This is for that night you tried to kill me!”
White-hot pain exploded through her body, her silver dress turning red with blood.
The hall erupted into absolute chaos as guests began to panic.
“Stop them! Someone stop this!”
“Call an ambulance! Call the police immediately!”
“She’s bleeding out! She’s going to die!”
Jade stood in the corner, watching the fallout in a chilling silence.
She knit her brows and moved to step forward, but Julian caught her wrist.
“Don’t. The knife I gave him is a short blade. It won’t kill her. I want her alive.”
Jade stopped, suddenly sensing a heavy, intense gaze on her. She looked up.
It was Hudson, staring at her from across the wreckage.
They locked eyes for a few seconds before she looked away with indifference.

Chapter 325 The Fallout
He remained her silent, loyal protector, just as he had promised her.
He was a quiet, reserved man by his very nature.
A public, flashy proposal like that was never truly his style.
And his first priority would always be Jade’s comfort and safety.
That first proposal had been a move to help her-a compensation for his earlier sins.
They reached the sidewalk when a voice suddenly stopped them.
“Jade!”
It was Hudson, sounding breathless as he caught up to them at the curb.
He reached out to grab her arm, but he was blocked.
Julian was faster, pulling Jade back and shielding her with his body.
Hudson glared at Julian’s hand on her wrist, his teeth baring in rage.
“Do you ever stop touching her? Get your hands off my wife right now!”
Julian met his gaze with a look of pure, stone-cold indifference.
“I’m much better at self-control than you ever were.”
