"But after you took control, your guilty conscience made you paranoid. You began targeting employees with the Quinn name, systematically pushing our family out of our own company… You even went so far as to put me and your adoptive mother under house arrest!" As Hayes revealed this, many in the audience began to curse Ramona, calling her an ungrateful wretch.
Ramona’s face darkened, but she couldn’t utter a single word in her defense. The people exposing her were her own company's lawyer and her own adoptive father. Ramona whipped her head around, her glare fixed venomously on Niamh. She didn't hate Wade. She didn't hate Hayes. She only hated Niamh. Because this entire public takedown was Niamh's master plan.
Niamh met Ramona's hateful gaze, but her exquisitely sculpted face remained perfectly calm, her expression deep and unreadable. "Dad…" Niamh’s voice made Hayes freeze. After so many years, this was the first time Niamh had willingly called him 'Dad'. Hayes’s eyes instantly turned red.
"Ramona didn't just forge the will, purge the Quinns, and imprison you and Mom… The most monstrous thing she did was murder Grandfather with her own hands!" Niamh’s bombshell accusation left Hayes aghast and the audience utterly speechless.
"Don't you dare slander me!" Ramona shrieked, unable to stop herself. The charge of murder was infinitely more serious than forging a will. "Grandfather died of a sudden heart attack! It had nothing to do with me!"
