Sitting at the main terminal, Serena paused her typing and slowly looked up.
She gazed out the window at the dense crowd, her cool, bright eyes narrowing slightly.
"Open the door," she commanded.
Lydia blinked. "Huh? Open the door? But they look..."
Like they were looking for trouble.
However, seeing her Captain's stunningly calm face, Lydia immediately shut her mouth and nodded. "Right away, Captain."
Lydia swallowed hard and unlocked the door.
Serena stood, slipped her hands into her pockets, and casually walked out.
The outside had been buzzing with loud chatter.
But the moment Serena appeared, all the murmuring ceased.
Dead silence.

But it carried clearly to everyone present.
The competitors didn't expect her to be so direct, addressing their purpose right off the bat.
They were already intimidated just by looking at her.
Now, they were completely at a loss for words.
