Serena pulled him all the way to the sofa, then glanced at him, the corner of her eye lifting slightly. For some reason, Nicholas felt there was a deeper meaning in that look.

Before he could think too much about it, Serena reached out and grabbed his collar. Forcefully, and with surprising strength, she pushed him down onto the sofa.

Nicholas still hadn’t processed what Serena was trying to do when her fingers traced down his collar. With a light flick of her slender fingers, she undid his top button.
