“Mom…” Isabella couldn’t sit still any longer. She stood up anxiously, biting her lower lip with a hint of resentment.
Just a moment ago, Sybil had been discussing her look with her.
Sybil should have done her styling first.
How could her mother just take Sybil away like that?
She had already let go of the fact that her mother had disregarded her feelings yesterday and sent Agnes to the back garden right in front of her.
She had woken up early, fussing over her mother, acting cute and coy to put her in a good mood.
And the moment Serena appeared…
Her mother’s favoritism became so blatant she didn’t even bother to hide it!
She hadn’t considered her feelings at all!
Catherine hadn’t really thought about it that much. She just turned to glance at Isabella. “Isabella, you haven’t decided on a style yet, have you? You go ahead and look. Let Sybil see how Serena looks in the evening gown first.”
With that, she took Serena with one hand and Sybil with the other, heading for the second floor.
Serena had no desire to be stuck in a chair for hours of primping this early in the morning.
And then to be stuck in such a formal look until evening…
The thought alone made her head ache. “Mom, I’ve seen the gown, it’s fine. As for the styling… I’ll get it done this afternoon before we leave.”
Catherine was a little worried. “Will there be enough time if you do it right before we leave? And… Sybil’s schedule might conflict…”
“I’m free! I’m free anytime!” Sybil chimed in with a grin, shaking his pink hair.
“But…” Catherine still wanted to see her precious daughter all dressed up ahead of time.
