Anna didn't care about the damage. She was completely unhinged, willing to sacrifice her heavily modified racing machine just to kill Serena.
Serena let out a soft chuckle. Just as the two cars were about to collide, she stomped on the brakes and rapidly downshifted.
The pink supercar seemed to anticipate the strike, pausing for a fraction of a second on the asphalt. Serena had been pushing over 140 miles per hour, forcing Anna and the others to match her blistering speed just to keep up.
Because of Serena's sudden deceleration, Anna's car shot right past her, hitting nothing but air. Carried by her own momentum, Anna collided violently with the other driver coming from the opposite side.
Sparks rained down as fiberglass shattered. The car Anna hit spun out of control and careened off the track. Anna, relying on her underground racing instincts, barely managed to regain control and keep her vehicle on the road.
Serena's car remained completely unscathed. Capitalizing on the chaos, she floored the accelerator and blasted out of the trap.
Less than thirty seconds into the race, the five-car blockade was completely annihilated.
"Holy crap! Is this a race or bumper cars?"
"She's unbelievable!"
"Look at that technique! It's insane!"
"A five-on-one ambush, and she dismantled it in seconds! This is badass!"
In the blink of an eye, the pink supercar was riding his bumper. Hurricane's eyes widened, his grip tightening on the steering wheel. She had actually survived the kill zone and caught up to him?
He narrowed his eyes and slammed the gas, attempting to leave the pink car in the dust. But Serena stayed glued to his tail, relentlessly drafting him. She wasn't giving him a single second to breathe.
This girl... she was a monster.
Hurricane's expression hardened. Up ahead were the infamous Death Curves. Five consecutive hairpin turns, completely devoid of guardrails, hugging the edge of a massive cliff.
This was where he would lose her. He wanted to see how this girl handled the most treacherous technical sequence on the mountain.
