My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 798

"Hannah, where did you go today?"

The moment Hannah got home, a worried Cherry ran up to her and grabbed her hands. "I called you this afternoon, but you didn't answer. You scared me to death! I thought maybe Melissa Rosenberg had tricked you into going somewhere. I was so scared I was about to call the police."

Hannah had just been told that she'd met with Quennel, not Lionel. She wanted to explain it was because Lionel had told Quennel he had important evidence that could ruin her plans, so she rushed over.

But then she remembered how Quennel had repeatedly warned her not to tell anyone about their meeting today. So, after a moment's thought, she kept it to herself.

"The divorce with Lionel is just around the corner, and I've been so busy handling everything lately. It's made me really tense. So I just went out for a walk to clear my head and relax."

Hearing Hannah's answer, Cherry let out a sigh of relief. "You definitely do need to relax. So much has happened."

"And the divorce is imminent. But Hannah, you should probably avoid going out alone right now. I'm worried that since the divorce is so close, Lionel might have someone secretly following you."

"If something bad happens to you, it would be terrible. If you want to go out, you should take one of us with you just to be safe."

After all, Lionel was a cunning and malicious person. If anything happened to Hannah before the divorce, and she couldn't make it to the court hearing, the ruling would be postponed to a later, unknown date.

Therefore, before the hearing, Hannah absolutely had to be careful.

Hannah hadn't been too worried at first, but after hearing what Cherry said, she realized she really did need to be more cautious.

Fortunately, her outing today had gone smoothly, and nothing had happened on the way back.

"I know what to do, don't worry. I won't go out on my own anymore. I'll let you know where I'm going in advance and have you come with me."
