Theresa's car shook, and she slammed on the brakes.
Crap!
A car accident.
The person who hit her was on a motorcycle.
Theresa was furious.
She was already unhappy about the engagement, and now a crash? She immediately got out to argue with the other party.
"How do you ride a bike? No eyes? Two wheels stay on the sides, didn't you know that?" Theresa asked irritably.
The man looked at his motorcycle. He had just returned to Cresden City and found an old bike at home.
It had just been fixed, and now it was hit. What bad luck.
"Hey, Miss, it doesn't say here I have to ride on the side. I was going straight. You turned left without looking, and you think you're right?"
"Straight? So what? You were clearly speeding. With so many people turning left, didn't you know to slow down?"
"Miss, are you going to be reasonable or not?" the man asked helplessly.
"The one being unreasonable is you. Did you do this on purpose, wanting compensation? I'm telling you, I've seen plenty of people like you. Don't think just because you were going straight, you're the boss. Either way, I'm the one paying."
The man shook his head, wondering if all women in Cresden City were this unreasonable.
He silently picked up his bike, preparing to leave.
"Wait, why are you running? Guilty conscience?" Theresa blocked him.
"Miss, you said I was scamming you, so me leaving should be fine, right?"
"Heh, you are guilty! Worried I'll call the police!"
The man looked at her, speechless.
"What guilt? Obstructing traffic over a minor issue like this is against the law. Do you know the law?"
