It was true—she didn't care about being the scapegoat.
Because she simply didn't care, and that was why Bianca had pinned it on her.
"Then why didn't you just spread rumors about me directly and try to get me expelled?" Elena asked out of curiosity.
If this were the old Bianca, she definitely would have made a big production out of it.
After all, back when Dylan had come to pick her up on an electric scooter, Bianca had spun the narrative that he was a delivery guy and milked that story for a long time.
She made sure the entire class, and even the whole school, knew that Elena's fiancé was a delivery man.
Bianca laughed self-deprecatingly. "I'm not stupid. Why would I go after you?"
"Weren't you quite aggressive before?"
"Before, my vision was too narrow. Elena, I know you're capable. I can't beat you, so I've decided not to try anymore. I will never win against you!"
After everything that happened, Bianca finally saw the situation clearly.
On the ship, Elena had the guts to run out alone and engage in a firefight with those people. That kind of courage and boldness was something Bianca knew she couldn't match.
In that moment, she realized the difference between herself and Elena.
She would never win.
Hannah had later told her that the deaths on the ship had nothing to do with Elena.
Hannah claimed Elena just got lucky and was saved by someone else.
At the time, Bianca had inwardly mocked Hannah for being shortsighted.
How could someone face that many enemies alone without having some serious connections or skills?
Elena was simply not the person they usually saw.
So, Bianca had accepted reality.
Plus, Elena's fiancé was the CEO of the Sinclair Group. How could such a distinguished man be a delivery driver?
It really was just her own narrow-mindedness.
Since she couldn't win, why ask for trouble?
