Bianca was speechless.
The way everyone looked at Bianca was now filled with suspicion and contempt.
"Back in school, I noticed she was pretty hypocritical. I didn't expect that after so many years, she hasn't changed a bit!"
"Look at her shoes, and the necklace on her neck. They're probably fakes too!"
"Is there anything real on her entire body? She's so vain!"
The classmates whispered among themselves. A male classmate named Norman Ellis walked over.
"Bianca, you haven't been doing well these years, have you? If you had just been with me back then, things wouldn't be like this. Let me tell you, I started working a long time ago. I'm an executive at a company now, making six figures a year!"
Bianca looked at Norman Ellis and found him even more repulsive.
Just six figures, and he was this proud?
She had seen plenty of rich people!
Even that senior, Henry Whitaker, was leagues ahead of him. She really didn't know where he got his sense of superiority.
Back in class, Norman Ellis had been a poor student. Relying on his decent looks, he had tried to pick her up.
Unfortunately, Bianca was determined to climb the social ladder. Her boyfriend had to be wealthy; it didn't matter if he was a bit ugly or old.
Of course, she had looked down on Norman Ellis and rejected him many times.
Later, Norman Ellis had turned his shame into anger and even slandered her.
This guy was still just as disgusting today.
Bianca didn't get angry; she maintained her elegance.
She squeezed out a smile. "Congratulations then. I wish you a bright future."
After speaking, Bianca intended to reach for her wine glass. She suddenly wanted a drink.
She knew her classmates were looking at her with strange gazes, and she wished she could find a hole to crawl into.
But she couldn't retreat. She couldn't leave.
