"I'm telling you, Theresa Graham, you must have this proposal done before you leave today. Otherwise, you can show yourself out of this company!"
Others shook their heads upon seeing this.
A proposal like that would take a day or two at least.
Asking a rookie to finish it in a single day was almost impossible.
And in their department, no one dared to help Theresa, or they would be targeted by Rachel Ward.
Everyone felt that Theresa had it rough.
She was definitely going to lose her job this time.
Theresa had no other choice. She couldn't be kicked out like this.
So, she called Elena and asked her to meet for lunch.
"Spill it. What's up?" Elena asked directly.
"How did you know something was up?"
"I know how your mind works. What trouble have you run into at the company now?"
"Hehe, you really do know me. I actually have a problem. If I don't fix it before I clock out today, I'm done for. I'll have to leave the company."
Theresa explained the situation with the proposal.
"Piece of cake. Give it here."
Elena took the laptop, her fingers flying across the keyboard. In a short while, a proposal was finished.
"How are you so fast? This proposal is light-years ahead of anything I could have written!" Theresa was incredibly satisfied.
Elena smiled. "Fortunately, I'm quite familiar with the Ellington Group. Writing a proposal based on the company's situation is easy for me. Otherwise, asking me to whip this up on such short notice might have been impossible. Consider it divine intervention."
"That won't do. You're the one helping me, how can I give credit to God? Elena, you're the best! Mwah!"
"However, coming back to the point, I've noticed your supervisor seems intent on driving you away. I suspect she’s working for one of your uncles, specifically targeting you, specifically targeting you," Elena warned.
"I know, but that's exactly why I can't leave! I have to stay and prove them wrong!"
Elena had coached her after finishing the work.
If she didn't learn the material, she would never be able to do it in the future without experience.
So, while Elena wrote the proposal, Theresa had familiarized herself with the entire process and learned a lot from it.
Seeing she couldn't pick any holes, Rachel could only say grudgingly, "At four o'clock, there's a meeting. You will present your proposal to the leadership!"
"Understood, Ms. Ward!"
Theresa was overjoyed and began preparing for the meeting.
This was her first time speaking at a meeting, and she was determined to do well.
Soon, the meeting was about to start. Theresa grabbed the proposal, ready to head in.
But after searching her entire desk, she couldn't find her proposal.
"Where is my proposal? Who took it?" Theresa asked.
