Amber was extremely displeased. "Xavier, you're being completely unfair. Patrick is your son too. Won't you even consider him?"
Xavier replied coldly, "Isn't Dylan enough? With the mess he's created, I haven't even blamed you for how you raised him, and now you're complaining about me! If you have free time, go lecture him. Throwing away his career over a woman—he's never going to amount to anything."
Amber was fuming with anger.
Dylan was nothing like he used to be. If he actually listened to her, she wouldn't have to resort to this.
The relationship between mother and son had completely broken down.
The main issue was that Dylan had caused all this trouble, so why was she taking the blame?
It had absolutely nothing to do with her.
Now it was dragging Patrick down and making him look bad. What a disaster!
Just as she was seething, Ethan suddenly burst into the room.
He jumped around erratically, running right up to everyone.
"Pretty lady! Pretty lady!"
He leaned in close to Patricia, grabbing her arm as he asked, "Have you seen my pretty lady?"
Patricia looked at him with sheer disgust. "Why did they let this idi... this person out?"
Damian shoved Ethan away. "Back off! Get away from my mom!"
Stumbling back, Ethan turned his attention to Xavier.
He ran up to him foolishly and grabbed his shirt. "Where's my pretty lady? Did you hide her? Did you? Tell me!"
Xavier, being an older man, struggled to stay steady under the violent shaking.
Scarlett Sinclair quickly intervened. "Security! Get Ethan out of here right now!"
Scarlett stepped forward, trying to coax him into letting go. "Ethan, let go. Stop shaking him! Ethan!"
