"None of your business!"
"What did I even do to make you mad this time? Why are your moods always all over the place?"
"Yeah, my moods are all over the place! It's all my fault, okay? And let me tell you something—don't think just because you're my fiancé that you can boss me around. My dad arranged that engagement, and I don't accept it! Stay away from me!"
Logan was utterly speechless.
He had no idea what he had done to set Theresa off.
"Are you sure you don't want me coming with you? Because if something happens, don't blame me!"
"I swear I won't blame you! I'd be a total hypocrite if I did!" Theresa shot back petulantly.
Logan stood there and shook his head. Dealing with this woman was the hardest job he had ever taken on in his entire life!

At the hospital.
Jane had finally managed to get inside and immediately rushed to see Sean.
Sean hadn't been to the office in days, and there was a mountain of work waiting for him.
As his secretary, it was incredibly frustrating not even knowing what he was up to.
It wasn't until today that she heard Sean was sick and in the hospital, so she rushed over right away to check on him.
When Lane saw her approaching, she immediately blocked her path.
"Miss Whelan, you can't go in."
"Why not?" Jane demanded angrily. "I'm Mr. Maddox's secretary. I need to speak with him about work."
"Mr. Maddox is in poor health right now. The doctor said he shouldn't be disturbed, so you should leave."
"Fine! Even if it's not about work, I'm here to see Mr. Maddox for personal reasons. Is that allowed? He's sick—are you telling me I can't even check in on him?"
"No," Lane said firmly.
Jane really wanted to slap Lane across the face, but she knew the bodyguard was highly trained.
If she actually provoked her, there was no telling what Lane might do.
When pushed, the woman was an absolute psycho.
