Elena pushed her remaining rice and slop toward the battered woman.

Emily stared at it, suspicious. "What are you playing at?"

"If you want to live, eat it. I have some questions. If you give me the right answers, there's a chance you might actually make it out of here."

Emily weakly glanced around. Seeing the guards stationed by the door, she whispered, "What do you want to know?"
