"Logan, you made it!"
Theresa looked at him in total shock. "How did you even get inside?"
"I scaled the wall, obviously!"
Logan had been circling the perimeter for hours. The moment Elena gave the go-ahead over the comms, he breached the facility.
As a former elite mercenary, high concrete walls and razor wire were barely a warm-up for him.
"Boss, I've disabled this sector's surveillance cameras. They're blind right now, but it won't last long. We need to move. You take the group and push toward the exit. I've rigged C4 around the Water Prison to draw their heavy hitters. I'll hold the rear!"
"Copy that. Watch your six," Elena commanded.
"Head straight down this corridor. When my explosives go off, the gate sentries will rush inward to support. Keep pushing straight, and you'll hit the main gates!"
"Theresa, let's go!" Elena grabbed Theresa's hand.
Theresa hesitated, looking back at Logan with terrified, lingering eyes. She was deeply worried about him.
"Go! They're coming!" Logan barked.
Once they sprinted down the hall, Logan pulled out a detonator, tossing the remaining explosive charges into the empty Water Prison.
He lit the fuse and vanished into the shadows.
BOOM!
A colossal explosion rocked the compound, sending a massive fireball into the night sky.
The deafening blast woke every single person in the facility.
Guards scrambled from their posts, sprinting toward the source of the fire.
Manager Woods bolted out of his office, his face pale with panic. "What the hell is going on?! Why is there an explosion? Where are the prisoners?"
"Manager Woods, the prisoners in the Water Prison escaped!"
"Hunt them down! Lock down the gates! They couldn't have made it far!"
Meanwhile, Logan had stealthily relocated to the massive prisoner dormitories.
