Sorry for Your Loss It's Me I'm the Loss novel Chapter 919

The dinner was surprisingly to her liking. Yvonne had a small portion of food and half a bowl of soup. The nourishing broth had bits of sweet corn in it, which were delightfully crisp.

Yvonne picked out all the corn and ate it.

She was a bit full and let out a small burp as she set down her utensils.

Dessert was still on the table—a few exquisite pastries that were the restaurant's specialty.

"I'm already stuffed, and I haven't even touched dessert," Yvonne said, patting her stomach.

"You and your appetite," Bennett chuckled before calling the waiter to pack up the desserts. They could have them the next day.

"Really full? I'll take you for a walk by the river when we get back to help you digest," Bennett offered, reaching out to gently pat her stomach.

Yvonne, however, shook her head. "I don't want to. I'm tired and just want to go home and sleep."

As she spoke, her beautiful eyes narrowed, and she let out an involuntary yawn.

After spending the entire day out on the water, stubbornly waiting to see dolphins, Yvonne had sat on the deck without napping. Now, she was truly exhausted.

"Alright, home to bed it is." Bennett stood up from his seat, picking up the take-out box with one hand and taking Yvonne's hand with the other.

Yvonne obediently let him lead her out of the private room.

Since Yvonne was walking slowly, Bennett naturally matched her pace.

As they walked hand-in-hand down the stairs and through the first-floor lobby, Yvonne stopped. "I'm going to the restroom."

"Okay." Bennett nodded and stood waiting for her.

The restroom was on the right side of the lobby, at the end of a corridor.
