“Trying is fine, but not like that. Jumping straight to the end–what’s left to try? I…”
Sienna pressed her lips together, finding it hard to continue. “Hin being so… inexperienced is just… a lot to process.”
Isabelle couldn’t hold back a laugh. “How did you even know he’s…”

“He told me himself–said he’s never been with anyone and wants to… figure it out with me… Sienna’s face grew warmer with every word. “How did you and Mr. Cross get to where you are now?”
Isabelle glanced at her man. “We just… settled into it, I guess. That’s pretty much the story…”
“Ugh, but Mr. Cross had been planning for you forever. With us, it feels more like being shoved onto a stage with no script–like I could get thrown into the spotlight at any second.”
Sienna sighed and explained her plan to draft a formal pre–nuptial agreement with Blaze, laying out specific terms, and asked for Isabelle’s thoughts..
Isabelle was impressed. “Wow, you came up with that? It’s actually a solid idea. And Blaze agreed to it?”
“It’s not like he’s losing anything. Why wouldn’t he agree? I’m the one taking all the emotional risk here.” Sienna suddenly felt like her mind was finally clicking into gear.
Nearby, Diana listened quietly, her expression neutral. A thought flickered through her mind… what if she and Brian tried something similar, a trial period governed by clear rules….
She quickly shook her head, dismissing the idea.
They all left the ranch later that same day.
By then, April and Violet were already on a flight home.
Brian stayed behind at the ranch, citing some family business to sort out.
Frank warmly urged everyone to stay a few more days, but they all recognized it as polite hospitality–no one took him up on the offer.
He managed to pull Diana aside, genuinely trying to convince her to stay longer. Diana had no intention of remaining, especially with everyone else gone–it was out of the question.

She offered a polite excuse and declined.
Brian didn’t intervene.

That night, under Frank’s persistent questioning, Brian finally confessed his relationship with Diana.
Frank was equal parts thrilled and worried.
Brian was full of clever strategies for other people’s love lives, but his own romance was all theory. Diana wasn’t buying into any grand plans.
Frank felt a pang of sympathy for his son.
Maddox had team obligations and left early in the morning.
Diana rode back in Isabelle’s car, along with Sienna.
The entire drive was consumed by discussions on drafting the marital agreement, the women talking openly even with Damian at the wheel.
Damian remained silent throughout, half–afraid that if this brainstorming session continued, they might cook up even more unconventional ideas.
He couldn’t let Isabelle absorb any of this!
Poor Blaze. Getting married only to be handed a contract. Who would’ve seen this day coming?
Still, the man’s taste wasn’t bad–first he’d been intrigued by Isabelle, now he was set on
Sienna.
Sienna had been working as a freelance translator and, during her period of enforced time at home, had just received a formal offer from the State Department’s translation office.
Otherwise, she might still be grounded.
And given their families‘ social standing, they had little choice but to transform the rumors into a legitimate union.
“If Blaze were as… considerate as Mr. Cross, I wouldn’t have to be so on guard with him,” Sienna murmured.
Isabelle smiled to herself–Damian hadn’t started out much better.
In the beginning, Damian wasn’t that different from Blaze–a traditional, sometimes

recklessly straightforward man who acted first. At least he could articulate his feelings. though.
Except some of the things he said were a bit too explicit, which was… something.
Damian waited for Isabelle to praise him, but she remained quiet. His expression clouded slightly.
He clicked his tongue, a retort on the tip of his tongue, but he swallowed it back.
Noticing his look, Isabelle giggled. “Damian learned through trial and error, but he’s come a long way. Otherwise, he’d probably still be living at the office.”
Diana laughed softly. “It seems Brian’s salary is well–earned.”
Sienna’s eyes lit up with an idea. “Maybe I should ask Brian for advice–get him to teach Blaze how to properly court someone.”
“You winning Blaze over would be faster,” Damian remarked dryly.
When a woman pursues a man, it’s far simpler.
Just sleep together once and things fall into place–that’s what he believed, but he didn’t dare voice it albud.
“Since when should the woman make the first move? That’s not how it’s done!” Sienna fired back immediately.
If the man didn’t take the initiative now, it would make the whole arranged marriage feel even more hollow.
