The Billionaire's True Heiress From Fake Jewel to Real Crown novel Chapter 228

Norris walked into the classroom right then. Instantly, the room went quiet. He had this serious, intimidating vibe, and nobody even thought about messing around. This was his territory, after all. Most of the students at winter camp were bookworms anyway, the kind who cared way more about studying than anything else.

Some of the girls couldn't help but whisper about how good-looking Norris was, but honestly, not even his looks could distract them from their love of math. Actually, if anything, Norris just made them love math even more.

“Hello everyone, I’m Norris.” He strode up to the front, tall and confident, his gaze sweeping over the whole class as he introduced himself. “I don’t need to learn all your names just yet, but by the end of this camp, I hope each of you will stand out in my mind. Starting today, you’re teammates and rivals. I want you all to give it everything you’ve got for the upcoming lessons.”

The room was still, everyone hanging on his words. After his quick pep talk, Norris started handing out textbooks and worksheets. His way of explaining things was so clear and straightforward that almost everyone could follow along easily.

Someone brought up the last question from the cafeteria quiz—the one Claire had solved so impressively. They asked Norris to go over it, and he agreed right away. He picked up a piece of chalk and started writing on the board. The class watched him, completely focused.

Well, everyone except Carr. The moment he saw that problem, all he could think about was how embarrassed he’d been in the cafeteria. His mind wandered and he barely heard a word.

Norris kept the class on their toes, calling on students to answer questions and tossing problems their way. These kids really were the best of the best, picked from all over. They were sharp, always ready to make connections, and each brought something unique to the table. Claire stood out among them, and Norris found himself wanting to go home and brag about her to his grandfather.

Class went by in a flash, and most of the students wished it would last longer. Norris didn’t even stop for a drink of water, just powered through the whole time. The students kept up without a hitch.

Winter camp really was a gathering of top talent. Every student here was strong, but Claire still handled it like it was nothing. She had other things on her mind, too. She wanted to look into Melissa, to find out more about her birth mother. Whether Melissa and Agassi were alive or not, Claire couldn’t just let it go.

Norris would have liked to follow her, but he was stuck answering questions. Most students actually stayed in the classroom during breaks, totally absorbed in their work or deep in discussion. There were only a few students like Carr, who let their jealousy get in the way. The rest were focused and driven, happy to debate and challenge each other. It made for this electric, competitive atmosphere.

Norris only left when the bell rang for the next period, and the students still seemed reluctant to let him go. But the next teacher jumped right in, and the intense pace picked up again. Three afternoon classes in a row left everyone completely wiped out.

As soon as his own class was over, Norris left campus early and headed straight for the Churchill Estate.
