The Billionaire's True Heiress: From Fake Jewel to Real Crown novel Chapter 467

No one could blame Oakley for wanting the cream. The results spoke for themselves, plain as day.

“You want some? Please. I want it too, but there’s just none left, you know?” Karla shot Oakley a look. “Dr. Hale, the one who used to make this scar cream, he passed away. Claire knows how to make it, but who knows if hers is as good as his?”

“Would you even dare to try it?” Oakley teased.

“And it’s not cheap, you know. I had it tested at a lab, and they said it’s made with top-shelf ingredients.”

Good medicine and a great formula? No way it would come cheap.

Oakley grinned. “Karla, do I look like someone who’d shortchange Claire?”

“She saved my life. I’d pay anything for her scar cream.”

Oakley was a little worried, sure, that Claire’s version might not measure up to Dr. Hale’s original, but Hale was gone. As far as he could tell, Claire had the only remaining formula.

He wasn’t picky. Even if Claire’s cream worked seventy percent as well as Dr. Hale’s, he’d still buy it in a heartbeat.

Honestly, the only reason this stuff wasn’t impossible to find was because no one was mass-producing it. Oakley had used it himself; he was probably the only one who really knew just how well it worked.

“Don’t just accept it out of gratitude because she saved your life, okay?”

“I already checked for you—the price for a tiny jar is nine ninety-nine.”

One jar was just ten milliliters, about the same as a little eye cream.

But the one Claire gave Oakley was fifteen milliliters. She’d just reused an empty Pandora eye cream jar to hold it for now. That was all she had left, anyway.

“That cheap?” Oakley raised his brows. For him, even if she’d said ten thousand a bottle, he wouldn’t have flinched.

Only nine hundred and ninety-nine dollars—it really felt like a steal.

“It’s only that cheap for you. Consider it a friends-and-family deal. Nobody else can even get their hands on it.”

“No need to give me any special price. Give me Claire’s contact and I’ll wire her the money directly.”
