The Mocked Miss’s Hidden Crowns novel Chapter 1750

“I’ve got it.”

Charlotte gave a calm smile and kept working. “You all go ahead. I’ll handle this.”

Her tone left no room for argument, so the director just hovered nearby, ready to help if needed.

Soon her fingers were nicked and scratched in several places, but she only paused to wipe them clean, not looking bothered at all.

The designers and craftspeople watching her work couldn’t help themselves. “Charlotte, have you done jewelry design before?” one finally blurted out.

Charlotte lifted her eyes and glanced around at all the faces looking at her with awe, her lips curving with a lazy smile. “Nope.”

It was true. She’d invested in the jewelry business, but this was her first time actually designing and making a piece herself.

“But…” A young woman nearby worked up the courage to add, “your hands are so steady. You make it look so easy.”

The meteorite was tiny and impossibly hard, and combining it with platinum and diamonds took real skill. Even people with decades of experience might not pull it off in a couple of days.

Charlotte just shrugged and grabbed a velvet cloth, gently polishing the ring. Her brows lifted with an easy air. “I watched an online tutorial, maybe half an hour. Picked up the basics.”

A half-hour tutorial? Learned it there? And just dove in?

The room went completely silent.

They’d all known Charlotte was talented, sure. Just not… superhuman.

By the time she finished the ring, the sky outside was already turning gold.

Charlotte caught a call from Anthony and answered with her usual calm. “Yeah. Meet me at the campus gate.”

Before leaving, she looked over her shoulder at the group behind her.
