Roger returned the smile. He slipped the certificates into his suit pocket and scooped his new wife up into a bridal carry.

Stepping onto the red carpet of the registration office, he walked out with slow, steady strides.

On the way back, Stella fell fast asleep.

Roger took out the marriage certificate, opened it, snapped a picture, and sent it to the family group chat.
