The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 535

After all, this wasn't the first time the Sloans had pulled something like this. Hadn't she and Leilani been framed by Tamara before? If they could do it once, they could certainly do it again. Leilani's kidnapping this time had to be connected to them.

While Yvonne and Judie let their imaginations run wild, Leilani calmly interrupted their speculations. "It wasn't them."

Yvonne paused, taken aback. "Huh?"

Judie was equally stunned. "It wasn't the Sloan family?"

Then who could it be? Although Leilani had a cold and aloof personality, she hadn't offended anyone in Alloy City other than the Sloans.

Leilani leaned against the headboard, taking in Judie's confusion with a calm expression. "This incident really had nothing to do with the Sloan family."

Yvonne's eyes widened, and she tilted her head in confusion. "If it wasn't the Sloans... then who was it? Leilani, do you have other enemies out there?"

Judie looked just as perplexed. "Yeah, other than the Sloans, who else would target you?"

Leilani lowered her eyes, her fingertips gently rubbing the edge of the blanket. Her tone was casual. "It's just some old grudges from the past. It's mostly been taken care of."

Yvonne didn't buy it. "Leilani, don't hide it from us! Those people dared to kidnap you in Alloy City, which means they must be powerful!"

Judie nodded in agreement. "Exactly! Tell us, and we'll help you figure something out!"

At the very least, the Fulton family had some influence in Alloy City.

Leilani looked up at the two of them. Seeing their worried and indignant expressions, a faint smile touched her lips.

"I'm really fine. Don't worry," she said, pausing for a moment before adding, "Callahan is already looking into it."
