Felicia froze in place. Her mind went completely blank as she tried to process the news. She had not contacted Max at all.

For Easton's proposal to pass the first round, someone highly influential had to have deliberately pulled strings for him.

It was not until Caroline mentioned Easton bumping into Max the night before that the pieces clicked into place.
