In the middle of his sleep, Darin heard the faint, distant sound of a piano. He woke up, listening closely. Someone was definitely playing. "Alright, that is enough for now," Max said calmly, grabbing her wrists.

Felicia violently wrenched her hands free as if she had been struck by a physical blow. Panting heavily, she slammed her fingers brutally against the keys, creating a horrifying clash of noise. Max instantly wrapped his arms around her, forcibly stopping her from hurting herself. "We are going back to rest now," he said firmly.

As he tried to lift her, Felicia completely broke down. Tears poured down her face as she thrashed against him in sheer hysteria. "Do not touch me, Max. You hate me. You despise me. You wanted to divorce me. Why are you putting on this fake act of kindness now? Will you only be satisfied when I am dead?"
