The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 1171

The call connected almost instantly, and a man’s deep, steady voice came through the receiver.

“Hello? What’s wrong?”

The moment she heard Alexander’s voice, Danielle’s heart gave a violent tremor. She didn’t know when it had started, but his line was always open, always answered on the first ring.

Danielle took a deep breath and gave him the address. “Alexander, can you come over?” she asked, her voice soft and laced with the smell of alcohol.

“Stay right there. I’m on my way,” Alexander said immediately. “Are you hurt? What did they do to you?”

“I’m not hurt, but they won’t leave us alone. Kirsten is completely drunk…”

“Don’t be afraid. I’ll be there in ten minutes. Don’t start anything with them before I arrive.” Alexander’s voice remained steady, carrying a power that instantly calmed her. “Keep the phone on. Don’t hang up.”

“Okay,” Danielle whispered, clutching the phone tightly to her ear.

The man beside her saw her calling for help, and his expression turned uglier. “Calling for backup is useless!” he snarled. “Neither of you is leaving tonight!”

As he spoke, one of the men reached out to snatch the phone from Danielle’s hand. She instinctively recoiled. “My friend is on his way.”

“A friend? I’d like to see who has the nerve to interfere with my business!” the leader scoffed, reaching to grab Danielle’s arm.
